New CA Bill Could Force Faith Community To "Evolve"

California's State house just passed a bill banning conversion therapy, essentially any counseling or other efforts that would help those seeking to leave a same-sex lifestyle. In the floor debate on the bill, CA state assemblyperson Al Muratsuchi stated that the "faith community, like anyone else, needs to evolve with the times. The science is clear."

Pressure Mounts To Investigate Comey

Former FBI director James Comey has the rare distinction of coming under heavy fire from both sides of the aisle on Capitol Hill. Democrats blame Comey for Hillary Clinton's election loss, after he re-opened the FBI investigation into her private server less than two weeks before Election Day.

Republicans, who questioned the legitimacy of that investigation from the start, are attacking the former FBI head for leaking memos of his private conversations with President Trump that were published in The New York Times. And the President wants Comey jailed for possibly lying to Congress under oath!

Crisis In Puerto Rico

I'm reaching out today with urgent news about the latest power outage in Puerto Rico. A contractor toppled a pole onto the main electric line, knocking out power to the entire island. The entire island! Officials estimate it will take 24 to 36 hours to turn back on what's left of Puerto Rico's electrical grid.

What's happening on the island is just tragic, test. Tens of thousands of Puerto Ricans have been without power since Hurricane Maria devastated the island on September 20, 2017. That was almost seven months ago. And now, this happens!
