On this 22nd anniversary of the September 11th attacks, we remember those who lost their lives in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Shanksville, PA. Nearly 3,000 Americans died after terrorists hijacked four planes that crashed into the World Trade Center towers, the Pentagon and in a Pennsylvania field.

It's hard to believe after 22 years, but New York City officials announced on Friday that the remains of two people who died at World Trade Center have been identified. According to CBS News, "More than 1,000 human remains from the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks have yet to be identified."

Please join Grassfire by taking a few moments to pray for those who lost loved ones on that horrible day. Also today, we're asking God to protect our great nation and to prevent a similar disaster from ever happening again.

Psalm 33:12 tells believers: "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." Through His grace and blessing may the United States always remain "the land of the free and the home of the brave." Thanks, in advance, for praying today.

Standing for life, liberty and limited government,

The Grassfire Team
