The Pelosi-Impeachment era has begun. The Democrats were barely done with their swearing in ceremonies when they had already filed the first articles of impeachment bill against President Trump. Speaking of swearing, the newly-elected Rashida Tlaib boldly proclaimed to supporters that "we are going to go in and impeach the motherXXXXX," and followed that up by doubling down "unapologetically" that she will "always speak truth to power." Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi was touting that she's equal in power to the President.
My friend, we're in for a battle unlike any we have seen!

Just hours after being sworn in as a member of the House of Representatives, Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) profanely called for President Trump's impeachment. She made her crass and shocking statement last night at a reception for the progressive group MoveOn·org in our nation's capital.Read more
On Thursday, Tucker Carlson continued his monologue series on the importance of marriage in our society. This is an extremely important discussion because the Left's argument is that wealth or race are the deciding factors in a society. But the evidence is clear that the breakdown of the family is the number one cause of cultural collapse.
Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) is a gentleman. He's polite, engaging and truly a nice guy, which is why I can't understand his continuing attacks on President Trump. Quite honestly, it's baffling to me. They started before the 2016 election and have continued until as recently as yesterday, writing in a Washington Post op-ed that "the president has not risen to the mantle of the office."Read more
National Review posted an excellent piece from Ben Shapiro explaining why Mitt Romney's attack on President Trump is all wrong.
In the piece, Shapiro also lists some of the President's bold, conservative accomplishments -- certainly more and better than Mitt ever would have managed:
"...the seating of two Supreme Court justices and another 83 Article III judges; a massive tax cut; a systematic dismantlement of regulations, including the repeal of the individual mandate under Obamacare and the destruction of the Obama administration’s absurd Title IX standards; the formation of an anti-Iranian alliance among Israel, Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia; the movement of the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem; the rebuilding of the American military; criminal-justice reform (a policy libertarians certainly favor); and a booming economy (thus far). Trump has governed far more conservatively than expected."
Sure sounds like an invasion. Washington Times:
A “violent mob” of illegal immigrants tried to ring in the new year by rushing the border in California, and Border Patrol agents fired tear gas at them to repel the incursion, Homeland Security officials said Tuesday.
About 150 people were involved in the attempt to climb over and burrow under a section of border fence in San Diego on New Year’s Eve night. After they were blocked, one group grew more combative, firing rocks over the border to try to hit agents.
Grassfire is thrilled to announced the 2018 "Snowflake" Awards.
During the week between Christmas and New Year's, Grassfire will announce the winners of our "Snowflake" award categories, recognizing the most outrageous Snowflake actions over the past year.
"This is a great opportunity to highlight how Snowflakes 'jumped the shark' over this past year and pushed their soft-bellied brand of political correctness to new lows," says Steve Elliott, president of Grassfire.
The four Snowflake Award categories for 2018 are:Read more
The headline from The Associated Press today was loud and clear:
White House closer to partial shutdown with wall demand
The left-leaning news organization then went on to paint a bleak picture for President Trump's efforts to fund and build a wall along America's southern border. According to AP:
Pushing the government to the brink of a partial shutdown, the White House is insisting that Congress provide $5 billion to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border despite lawmaker resistance from both parties. Without a resolution, parts of the federal government will shut down at midnight Friday.
But the President isn't backing down. This morning, he tweeted: "Anytime you hear a Democrat saying that you can have good Border Security without a Wall, write them off as just another politician following the party line. Time for us to save billions of dollars a year and have, at the same time, far greater safety and control!"Read more
President Trump did what many of us have been begging for a leader to do -- to be courageous enough to throw down the gauntlet on border security. Watch the President say, "I will shut it down" when challenged by Schumer:
