Have the GOP House and Senate given up?
It's starting to feel that way.
It seems GOP leaders are so concerned about losing in November that they have stopped governing altogether!

Here's a shocking fact we learned today...
The GOP-run House will only be in session for eight days over a 15-week period from July 27 to November 7.
That's more than three months and the House will only be in session two weeks.
That means there will be no progress on spending bills, very little investigative work by GOP-led House committees, nothing on the SAVE Act, nothing to help the economy...
Speaker Johnson just cancelled another two weeks of session time. Senate Majority Leader Thune has the Senate in the midst of a 6-week vacation and will likely only return for one week before leaving until after the November elections.

It sure feels like Johnson and Thune have GIVEN UP on advancing any America First agenda items until after the election. But experts are warning that the GOP will likely lose the House and could lose both chambers!
That means during the only weeks in which we are guaranteed to have GOP control of both the House and the Senate, GOP leaders are throwing up the white flag of surrender!!!
