Grassfire came across an interesting article from POLITICO today. The left-leaning news site appeared to sympathize with what you might call "pro-forma RINOs" who show up to gavel in and gavel out the Senate every few days. That way, the Upper Chamber, technically, stays in session, and President Trump can't make any recess appointments. POLITICO reports:

"MAGA social media circles have seized on what was once a little-noticed, low-drama procedural affair as the newest opportunity to eviscerate Republicans for what they see as being insufficiently loyal to President Donald Trump." (Emphasis added.)

Imagine that! Conservative grassroots patriots are upset at GOP Senators for obstructing a REPUBLICAN President. Go figure. POLITICO adds:

"Some GOP senators have even told colleagues in recent weeks they don't want to be included in the conference's rotation for presiding over what’s known as the chamber's pro forma sessions because it will result in being flamed on the internet..."

Good! Despite what many on Capitol Hill might want conservatives to believe: GOP Senators DO hear you!
