Socialism on the rise

Gallup recently released a new survey that found, for the first time, that Democrats have a more favorable opinion of socialism than capitalism.

The survey is jolting, or at least it should be. According to Gallup, 57% of Democrats now have a favorable view of socialism, while just 47% view capitalism favorably. But the big change over the eight years that Gallup has conducted this survey reveals the real nature of the ideological shift in our land.

FB TRYING TO BAN ME LIKE THEY DID DIAMOND & SILK

I do politics for my show on FB "live".  I just got a notification this morning, the day of my broadcast that they have banned some of my content because it may go against their community standards.  WHAAT???
Take a look at my page, and my previous shows.  Most favor our president.  Some don't.  I am a commentator, so I talk about both the LEFT AND THE RIGHT.  So, I want you to put FB on the hotspot for trying to censor free thought.  Because 'free thought is a philosophy and not a policy'.  GRASSFIRE interviewed me at President Trump's Rally in Millington, Tn.  I am a Media Producer and Promoter.  So I told the truth.  GRASSFIRE did a feature story on me in your online magazine.  You can find it in the archives.
Please take at look at my shows.  I do not incite 'VIOLENCE" on my shows.  Apparently FB is trying to say that I am.  However, it seems to me that FB may be prejudiced against Black Women.  I'm just saying, not accusing, because Diamond and Silk are Black, and I'm Black.  Do we need a Rocket Scientist on this?  Maybe.
Thanks.  Here's my link:

Our divide in numbers

We can all feel the growing partisan divide in our nation. And "partisan" isn't really the correct term. It's really an ideological divide that expresses itself in many ways, including politics.

The divide is evident all around us. We see it on television. We feel it in social media. It is inescapable. It seems every issue has become a "wedge" issue that divides us into two groups that are moving further and further apart.

But rarely do we get to see the divide in raw data, like we did this week...

Kavanaugh worse than Bork?

The early attacks against Judge Kavanaugh's nomination or the U.S. Supreme Court are working.

According to early polling, Judge Kavanaugh is among the LEAST POPULAR Supreme Court nominees in history. Based on results from three polls, his favorable/unfavorable numbers are nearly as bad as Robert Bork's, who was famously "Borked" by Senate Democrats.

And that's just the beginning...

Trump: "Fake News is going Crazy!"

Far-Left, progressive "news" organizations are having a field day criticizing President Trump's press conference yesterday with Russian president Vladimir Putin. It seems like every anti-Trump "talking head," liberal Democrat and Establishment Republican who has an ax to grind against our Commander-in-Chief is doing just that on cable news and social media.

A song in the night

Have you ever heard a song in the night? How about in a "night season" when it seems there is no song to be heard?

I've been facing some challenges lately. These challenges are "common to man" and certainly pale in comparison to what many others are facing. But they are challenges nonetheless.

And as a result, I find something happening that doesn't make me feel very comfortable...

The true genius of Trump

This week, immediately after making a historic nomination for the Supreme Court, President Trump departed for Europe and the next phase of his DEFENDING AMERICA AGAIN campaign.

Can you remember the days of Obama and his endless "apology" tours around the world? What a difference with President Trump in the White House! The President is calling out our NATO allies for their unwillingness to pay their fair share to defend western civilization. Then he headed to England with some stern words for the Prime Minister who has weakened Brexit. Trump even noted that Europe is "losing" because uncontrolled immigration is "changing the culture."

Again.... just try to imagine any other American leader making such statements! And herein lies the true genius of Trump

Two votes that can stop Trump

Two Senators can stop President Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh...

Senators Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski

These liberal Senators are already coming under intense pressure and scrutiny in this early stage of the confirmation process. Yesterday, both were out making public comments on Judge Kavanaugh and the process -- and neither would commit on how they might vote. But Murkowski is already pointing to abortion rights and gun control as her key litmus tests.

Trump nominates Kavanaugh, attacks begin

President Trump just made his announcement for his Supreme Court nominee... Judge Brett Kavanagh, a well-qualified candidate who fits the President' campaign pledge of nominating individuals who will interpret the Constitution and not legislate from the bench.

Here's how Kavanaugh described his judicial philosophy last night:

"My judicial philosophy is straightforward.  A judge must be independent and must interpret the law, not make the law.  A judge must interpret statutes as written.  And a judge must interpret the Constitution as written, informed by history and tradition and precedent."

Read Grassfire's briefing on Judge Kavanaugh's legal philsophy.

Trump did it AGAIN!

Did you see the jobs report?

President Trump did it AGAIN!

First, the economy added over 213,000 jobs in June. And here's the kicker: the number of EMPLOYED Americans reached a record high of 155,576,000 -- after years of seeing more and more people simply choose not to work under Obama! As the President said this week:

"Our economic policy can be summed up in three very simple but beautiful words... Jobs, jobs, jobs."

Despite all the anti-Trump noise... despite all the now open attacks on anyone who supports this President... despite the never-ending, bogus Mueller investigation... despite all the negativity directed at his administration... President Trump is actually leading a revolution to make our nation great again.

But how is Trump doing it?

The day America decided to win

As I celebrated Independence Day with my family yesterday, an interesting thought struck me...

Why don't we celebrate September 3 as our Independence Day?

After all, that was the day that the Treaty of Paris was signed, formally ending the War for Independence. That was the day we won the battle for independence. So why not celebrate September the Third? The answer reveals an important aspect of what it means to be an American.

What I learned about Trump

Writing a book is an interesting journey.

On one hand, you have the "end" in mind when you start. That concept is usually what drives one to write a book in the first place -- some intellectual "destination" that you want to guide the reader to. In this way, book writing is quite deductive. The writer begins with a premise based on experience and then works to the particulars (proofs).

On the other hand, book writing is also inductive. Or more bluntly, surprising.

How they'll block Trump's SC nominee

Here's how they are going to stop President Trump's Supreme Court nominee to fill retiring Justice Kennedy's seat...

They can't do it on votes because Republicans control the Senate.

They can't do it on the ideology of the nominee because the President will nominate a very qualified candidate.

But there is another way to defeat the President's nominee...

Ryan Amnesty Smoke Screen

Beware of the amnesty smoke screen! The current manufactured outcry over children being separated from their parents is over even though the policy was exactly the same under former president, Barack Obama. From The Daily Caller:

The media and political class become more and more outraged over the Trump administration's decision to detain and prosecute immigrants illegally crossing the border.

Lost in the debate is any acknowledgment that President Obama's administration also used detention facilities.

Current U.S. immigration laws, when enforced, have the consequence of temporarily separating adults who arrive with children into separate detention facilities in order to prosecute the adults.

Think about it for a minute. What happens when one or both parents commit a crime here in America? Often times, children are separated from their mother and/or father, then taken into the custody of Child Protective Services. People who enter the United States illegally have broken the law and must be detained. Why is this suddenly such a big issue now, when it wasn't during the eight years of the Obama presidency? Because it's a way to hurt Trump.

7 words from my dad

I was up early yesterday on Father's Day and I couldn't help but think about my dad.

Earl Louis Elliott. Hard to believe he passed away to his heavenly reward 24 years ago, yet on this day, my thoughts flood to him. It's amazing how long a shadow dad casts, but maybe that's the way it's supposed to be.

I want to share one memory and seven words from my dad with you. First the seven words...
