Schiff reveals impeachment's real goal

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), one of the House managers arguing in favor of impeaching President Trump is "off the rails." One of the three lead architects of the coup against America's Commander-in-Chief, he's also the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. (How's that for an oxymoron?)

Schiff has spent the past three days making wild accusations and predictions about what will happen if the President is NOT removed from office. Some of them are just ridiculous, and others are totally outrageous.

Yesterday, he warned that, if Mr. Trump isn't impeached, we may have to fight a land war with Russia inside the United States. Seriously! Here's what he said:

"As one witness put it during our impeachment inquiry, the United States aids Ukraine and her people so that we can fight Russia over there, and we don't have to fight Russia here."

BREAKING: GOP Senators stand with Trump!

Republican Senators "pitched a shutout" yesterday against Democrats determined to extend the Witch Hunt against President Trump. Kudos to the GOP for standing strong AGAINST impeachment -- and FOR America's Commander-in-Chief!

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) introduced 11 amendments during Tuesday's marathon session in the Upper Chamber. Democrats were haggling for additional witnesses and/or documents related to the House investigation of the President.

Republicans voted down every one of them. In fact, Schumer managed to wrangle only one GOP Senator, Susan Collins from Maine, to support his final, proposed amendment.

Dems' impeachment "dumpster fire"

This morning, we told you the Senate reconvened at 1:00 p.m. ET today to continue the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump. Yesterday, the Commander-in-Chief’s legal team filed a 110-page trial memorandum to the impeachment court that Grassfire feels compelled to share with you.

The well-crafted document calls the two articles of impeachment "an affront to the Constitution and to our democratic institutions." It labels the House impeachment inquiry a "rigged process" and a "brazenly political act" that "violated every precedent and every principle of fairness followed in impeachment inquiries for more than 150 years."

Ouch. That's gonna leave a mark!

BREAKING: More Dem temper tantrums?

Grassfire received an email from the office of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) yesterday afternoon. His staff wanted us to know that the impeachment trial of President Trump will reconvene at 1:00 p.m. ET today and that McConnell "will offer an Organizing Resolution to set the parameters for the initial (phase 1) proceedings."

The email added that the resolution "will be largely based on the 'Clinton model' that was adopted 100-0 at the start of the Clinton impeachment trial in 1999." However, Democrats have been complaining for weeks about McConnell's plan to use the same parameters from 21 years ago.

Days before Christmas, the Senate leader told FOX News, "Let’s handle this case just like we did with President Clinton. Fair is fair." But according to McConnell's office, "What unanimously worked for the entire Senate in 1999 is apparently not satisfactory for Democrats."

So expect the next few days to bring on more temper tantrums from the likes of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and their allies in the "Fake News" media. Expect them to whine vociferously about the need to call witnesses that the House was too rushed, lazy or incompetent to call.

THIS is why The Swamp hates Trump

As the impeachment hoax moves to the Senate trial, the Witch Hunt against the President has become obvious to millions and millions of Americans. Radical Democrats, the Deep State, the D.C. Swamp, the "Fake News" media, Hollywood's "elite" and NeverTrumpers have been trying to take down our Commander-in-Chief since before he took office. Grassfire wants to share what we think is a big reason why they hate Donald Trump.

In his inauguration address, entitled It's Going to Be "America First," our 45th president "took the gloves off." It was Day 1 of his administration -- January 20, 2017 -- and he promised that "politics as usual" in our nation's capital was over:

"We are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the American people. For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government, while the People have borne the cost. Washington flourished, but the People did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left and the factories closed. The Establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country."

POLL: Should Trump's Senate trial have witnesses?

This week, Republican Senators reportedly began discussing a strategy of "witness reciprocity" for President Trump's impeachment trial. The idea is that if Democrats call former Trump national security adviser John Bolton to testify on the Ukraine scandal, then Republicans get to hear from Hunter Biden. Or if Rudy Giuliani takes the stand, so does the so-called "whistleblower."

Since the House voted to impeach our Commander-in-Chief in December, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has been reluctant to add witnesses in the Senate trial. That way, this second Witch Hunt against the President could end as quickly as possible. But now, he's said to be "open" to the idea of letting Democrats call trial witnesses, if the GOP can, too.

Grassfire wants to know what you think. So we're inviting you and other team members to take our new, "Senate Trial Witnesses?" QuickPoll. Please tell us if you support introducing new testimony during the upcoming impeachment trial.

TAKE ACTION: Articles delivery ridiculous, overly dramatic?

After four weeks of trying to force the Senate to do the House's job, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) finally sent two articles of impeachment to the Upper Chamber. Yesterday, House Democrats literally carried the articles for "abuse of power" and "obstruction of Congress" from one side of the Capitol to another in what many thought was a ridiculous and overly dramatic processional. (Watch it here.)

The third impeachment trial of a U.S. president is expected to start next week. Pelosi's month-long haranguing of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was over allowing additional witnesses at the trial. McConnell insisted that the Senate was not going to do the House's "homework" for them.

Days before the House voted to remove President Trump from office, McConnell called the Democrat-led Witch Hunt "the most rushed, least thorough, and most unfair impeachment inquiry in modern history." Many Trump supporters are thankful the Majority Leader has refused to enable what he also called a "predetermined end of a partisan crusade."

Trump "breaks" Twitter with Iran tweet!

Here's something you probably won't see or hear on the "mainstream" media (MSM). President Trump broke a Twitter record on Saturday afternoon when he tweeted his support for pro-freedom protestors in Iran. Twice, he tweeted the same message in English and Persian, the most-spoken language in Iran.

In three days, those four tweets have been "liked" more than one million times! Click here or on the image above to see a larger version of the President's tweets.

According to a senior advisor at a nonpartisan, D.C.-based think tank, it only took about an hour for one of the tweets to become "the most liked Persian tweet in the history of Twitter. He added: "A strong show of support by Iranians for Trump's Iran policy, something the MSM does not and will not report."

The deadly U.S. airstrike against Iran's terrorist general, Qassem Soleimani, earlier this month and Tehran's recent admission that it mistakenly shot down a Ukrainian commercial flight have emboldened protestors. Tens of thousands are risking their lives calling for an end to the oppressive Islamic regime that has ruled Iran for more than 40 years.

POLL: Should Trump have killed Iran terrorist?

Many radical Democrats were outraged when the Trump administration approved an airstrike that killed a top Iranian general last week. Iranian Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani was directly responsible for the deaths of more than 600 American soldiers. Not only was Soleimani reportedly behind a siege of the the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad on December 31, Reuters reports that the "second-most powerful figure in Iran" was plotting additional attacks against U.S. troops, diplomats and other interests in "multiple countries."

Yet, even though there's irrefutable evidence the Iranian general was, in fact, a terrorist and a continued threat to the United States, the Democrat-led House wants to punish America's Commander-in-Chief. As a response to the airstrike that killed Soleimani, Representatives are expected to vote TODAY to limit the President's "war-making powers." Once again, it appears the Left would rather mourn a terrorist than support Mr. Trump and his efforts to keep America safe.
