After voting on three GOP amendments, including Sen. Mike Lee's (R-UT) #6482 that provides additional protections for religious liberty, the FINAL-PASSAGE VOTE on the anti-faith, pro-LGBTQ bill (H.R.8404) will occur.

If signed into law, the so-called "Respect For Marriage Act" will punish people with traditional views on marriage and sexuality. In a letter to Senators recently, Lee wrote: "No American should face legal harassment or retaliation from the federal government for holding sincerely held religious beliefs or moral convictions. ... The free exercise of religion is absolutely essential to the health of our Republic. We must have the courage to protect it."

For weeks, we've heard pundits and politicians talk about how bad this bill is for the religious freedom of conservatives, Christians and other people of faith. This morning, we want to share what two of America's most prominent faith leaders said recently about the same-sex marriage bill (H.R.8404).
Franklin Graham, president and CEO of Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, has spoken out against anti-faith, pro-LGBTQ legislation before, including the so-called "Equality Act" last year. On Saturday, Graham didn't hold back in criticizing the "Respect For Marriage Act," too.
On his Facebook page, he called for Americans to contact their Senators and demand "protection for religious liberty and rights of conscience" be included in the bill. Graham warned, "Time is short—freedom-loving people have to take action before it's too late." He also wrote:
Yesterday, on his "Family Talk" Facebook page, Dr. James Dobson urged people of faith: "Don't Stop Now" because "the battle isn't over" against "the misnamed Respect for Marriage Act." The Focus on the Family founder also shared:
(A) dozen Republican senators... have, sadly, joined Senate Democrats in pushing a bill that threatens the religious liberty of millions of Americans who believe God-designed marriage as the union between one man and one woman. Thankfully, Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) has proposed an important amendment that can preserve religious liberty and protect individuals, churches and Christian organizations that support traditional marriage from unmerited litigation.
The Biden Regime, the radical, unhinged Left and GOP RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) are on the brink of passing a law to punish conservatives, Christians and other people of faith.
