FOX News is reporting that "Round 3" of the Speaker vote will happen TOMORROW. Grassfire isn't sure what time yet, but we'll continue to keep you updated on this fight.

Like the first two, Thursday's vote for Speaker is likely to be held in late morning or early afternoon. Today's results saw Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) actually lose ground. He received 199 votes -- one less than yesterday.

A total of 22 GOP Reps voted for someone else. Ridiculously, former Speaker John Boehner, who resigned from Congress in 2015 and is now a marijuana lobbyist, received a vote.

Still, Jordan and his team aren't giving up the fight. One ally told FOX News earlier today: "We're going to keep going."

House Freedom Caucus Chairman Scott Perry (R-PA) said on social media today."This is the fight — which Jim Jordan represents — to end the status quo, and it ain't easy...Stay strong and keep praying."

Again, "Round 3" of the Speaker vote is expected sometime tomorrow (Thursday). But, if you want to see pro-Trump Jim Jordan, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, become House leader, you can take action now!

The House of Representatives is expected to reconvene at 11:00 a.m. ET this morning for "Round 2" of their efforts to elect a new Speaker. Yesterday's vote failed to result in a clear, majority winner. The next House leader needs at least 217 votes to claim the gavel.

The clear front-runner, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), received only 200 GOP votes. Twenty GOP Reps played the role of spoilers by scattering their votes among seven other Republican choices. True to form, not a single Democrat Rep broke ranks. All 212 voted for House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY).
