Kelley Paul, wife of Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), has been sharing about her "terrifying" and "powerless" experience in Washington, D.C. on Thursday night. When people -- especially women -- hear what she said on FOX News last night, it's sure to severely affect Democrat nominee Joe Biden in the polls. (Go here to watch the interview now.)

After the Pauls and two of their friends left the South Lawn of the White House after President Trump's speech, a growing group of protestors followed, harassed, threatened and assaulted them. Here's what Kelley told Tucker Carlson about the "blood-thirsty mob":

"In the minutes before the police with the bikes showed up, we were completely encircled and surrounded -- pressed up against two cops. We were surrounded by people who were screaming in our faces, yelling that they were going to 'f' us up, screaming 'Say her name!'

"You know, at first, I was trying to look in their eyes and trying to have any kind of reason or see someone as a human being, and I realized they did not see us as human beings. We were Trump supporters, so they absolutely despised us."

Given her and her husband's work on criminal-justice reform, Kelley thought she might be able to find common ground with the protestors. Sen. Paul wrote the Justice for Breonna Taylor Act, which calls for ending the no-knock raids that led to the police-shooting death of the 26-year-old EMT in Louisville, Kentucky earlier this year. But there's no discussing or negotiating with a mob.

"I really felt that we were going to lose our lives," she insisted. "It was the most terrifying moment of my entire life."

This kind of ugly scene, which played out several times in different areas of our nation’s capital on Thursday night, has been going on for months across our great nation. The radical, unhinged Left has become a "blood-thirsty mob" of anarchists, Marxists, Antifa thugs and others who have been allowed to terrorize citizens and destroy property in mostly Democrat-run cities. Much of what started as peaceful protests for racial justice has disintegrated into chaos.

Most Democrat mayors, governors, representatives and senators refuse to condemn what has become nightly violence in some areas. Meanwhile, the radical Left's allies in the FAKE NEWS media either excuse or ignore the dangerous, criminal behavior.

When Tucker Carlson asked Kelley Paul about "mainstream" media claims that the attack against them was a "peaceful protest," she replied: "I am furious. I’m furious that [Joe] Biden and Kamala Harris are not denouncing this. You tell me: if you are surrounded by a mob that will not let you move, that is screaming in your face, that is holding you completely hostage… you tell me that’s not violent. You tell me that is not an attack!”
