Apparently, if The Washington Post has its way, Republican Senators will cave soon and give unhinged Democrats exactly what they want: a successful coup against President Trump! The far-left newspaper, which still uses the ridiculous subheading "Democracy Dies in Darkness" on its masthead, hysterically wrote yesterday:

A torrent of impeachment developments has triggered a reckoning in the Republican Party, paralyzing many of its officeholders as they weigh their political futures, legacies and, ultimately, their allegiance to a president who has held them captive.

President Trump’s efforts to pressure a foreign power to target a domestic political rival have driven his party into a bunker, with lawmakers bracing for an extended battle led by a general whose orders are often confusing and contradictory.

"A reckoning" over a phone call? Also, the President is "paralyzing" fellow Republicans, "held them captive" and "driven his party into a bunker"? Please. The once-revered Washington Post appears to have lost any and all objectivity and given itself over to hyper-partisan reporting. Talk about "fake news."

This easily illustrates how far the Left will go to overthrow Donald Trump and annihilate the results of a free and fair election. Another example of "WaPo's" extreme bias against the President can be found in this headline that was on the front page of their website today:

New poll shows increasing GOP support for impeachment

Most people's first reaction is probably, "Wow. That's bad." Until they learn the newspaper's poll shows only two in ten Republicans want to see Mr. Trump impeached. So, basically, the "increasing support" went from one person to two people, which means that an overwhelming 80% of Republicans STILL support the President.
