FOX News host Tucker Carlson says he knows what the attacks (subpoenas, investigations, raids, etc.) against President Trump, his staffers, confidantes and supporters are all about: "The point of this is to suppress political dissent, to hobble an entire political party, and to keep any of these people from ever participating in American politics again."
Carlson scoffs at the idea that Joe Biden and his politicized FBI and Department of "Justice" are doing this "in the name of democracy." During his top-rated, prime-time, cable-news show "Tucker Carlson Tonight" on Monday, he said The Regime "just declared a new war on terror," adding:
"Who is the threat? Well, of course, it's you and anyone else in the way of the Biden administration, and especially... anyone who questions the legitimacy of the last election. ... This is a full-blown political purge. That's not a talking point. It is not in any sense a conspiracy theory. It's completely real."

On Monday night, Tucker Carlson blasted the Biden Regime for using the 21st anniversary of the September 11th attacks to insist that "any American who disapproves of Joe Biden's performance is a terrorist." Carlson also called Mr. Biden's blood-red, "Soul of the Nation" address "a declaration of war on an entire political party in a two-party system." He added that on the evening of September 1, 2022, in Philadelphia: "Joe Biden declared his political opponents enemies of the state."
It's hard to disagree based on the behavior of the FBI and Department of "Justice," even before that speech. But the truth is, the Left demonizing President Trump and his supporters has been going on for years -- since America's 45th president announced his candidacy in June of 2015. Until very recently, MAGA Republicans have been collateral damage in the radical, unhinged Left's "War on Trump." But now, it appears "America First" patriots (aka, MAGA Republicans) are the intended target.
Back in December of 2019, Grassfire shared a popular meme featuring President Trump. Posted on Twitter shortly after the House of Representatives' first sham impeachment vote, it seems as true now as it did then:
In reality, they're not after me. They're after you. I'm just in the way.
So, what is the Republican Party doing about this new reality? Not much, it seems. Grassfire is still waiting for press conferences, steps-of-the-Capitol protests, fiery floor speeches or anything else that shows the GOP taking a stand to defend President Trump and patriotic Americans?
After all, every U.S. citizen has a First Amendment right to call for free and fair elections and to speak out when they feel that hasn't happened. So, in response to these attacks, where's the GOP?
