About a year ago, a Grassfire staff member was searching an online database for a patriotic photo. We needed an image to post inside an article on Grassfire.com.

But it wasn't an American flag, July 4th fireworks or the Statue of Liberty that caught his eye. Instead, it was HOPE seen in the face of a child.

These are difficult days for our great nation, which is why this photograph has stayed with us for almost an entire year. We were reminded of it as the days counted down to America's 237th birthday.

This image shows "America First" patriots "from sea to shining sea" what we're REALLY fighting to protect and preserve. Our mission is about more than life, liberty and limited government. Grassfire wants to empower you to protect your children and grandchildren in the days, months and years ahead.

The radical, unhinged Left has been saying it for years, "We're coming for your children." Believe them. They mean what they say.

Back in April, the "Commander-in-Thief" said, "There's no such thing as someone else's child. ... Our nation's children are all our children." Wrong!

At a "pride" parade in New York this past week, a group of drag queens and others chanted, "We're here! We're queer! We're coming for your children!" At least one "mainstream" news organization tried to defend the chant, saying it was meant "to be lighthearted and to poke fun." Wrong again!
