CNN reports that a large number of U.S. Marines are saying NO to "the jab." Nearly 40% have refused to be immunized against COVID. Coronavirus vaccines are not mandatory for American servicemen and servicewomen yet -- but could be in the future. From CNN:

As of Thursday, approximately 75,500 Marines have received vaccines, including fully vaccinated and partially vaccinated service men and women. About 48,000 Marines have chosen not to receive vaccines, for a declination rate of 38.9%. ... The declination rate at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, one of the prominent Marine Corps bases, was far higher, at 57%.

CNN also says Marines are concerned "about the speed at which the vaccines were developed and fears over long-term effects." It's surprising news at a time when the push for "the jab" and mandating COVID-vaccine "passports" is gaining steam in some states, while being flatly rejected in others.
