Rush Limbaugh Tribute

In honor of Rush's life and legacy, share how the "Great One" impacted your life and our nation....

Rush Limbaugh was one of the nation's leading conservative voices for more than three decades. He championed America's founding ideals of liberty and limited government like few talk-radio hosts ever. On Wednesday, February 17, at the start of "The Rush Limbaugh Show," his wife Kathryn announced that he died from lung cancer at the age of 70.

We're saddened by his passing and what it will mean to the future of the conservative movement in America. But we are grateful for the decades that he served as such a strong voice for this great nation. Please join us in praying for his family and friends during their time of loss.

(Grassfire President Steve Elliott's Tribute.)

Please use this "Rush Tribute" to share how Rush impacted you personally and how grateful you are for the way he has impacted our nation.

I have listened to Rush for 15 years, and oh how I wish it had been 30. My other regret is not knowing him as a disc jockey in Pittsburgh as I am from that area.

Rush could explain and teach us like no other. He was a talent from God for sure.

As Mark Styne said, talent returned to God. I’m happy he is in Jesus’ arms now, but it will be so sad , confusing, and different without him.

    God Bless his family.

I was a Rush listener for 29 years. Everything he said made sense from my life experiences. I drove a lot in my work as a field engineer and Rush made the driving fun and informative. I really feel like I’ve lost a very close friend as I’m sure many of you do also. His contribution to America is immeasurable. He is with our Lord now but will always be with us in spirit.

Thank you Rush Limbaugh for being a voice of reason for our country. Your integrity and honesty cannot be surpassed. You used your God given talents to speak common sense and truth and optimism during a time when evil seems to prevail. We thank you. I thank you. You will be sorely missed. We will try to stand in your place yet we know you cannot be replaced. May God bless your family and give them His peace and comfort.

I too first heard of Rush Limbaugh 30 years ago! And thank God I did. I was freshly graduated from Northern Michigan University, with a degree in education, I was on my way to a life of liberal group think! And Rush reminded me of my conservative upbringing, reminded me of individual responsibility verses victimhood mentality. Rush was a Mentor, a Mentor who I felt I knew well, even though he knew nothing of me. He challenged me to think bigger and to chase wisdom not knowledge.

    Talent on loan from God!

Let us carry on and loudly speak into the microphone of excellence wherever we go.

Our world will not be the same without Rush. He was the go to person for sound perspective on what was happening in the world. He was brilliant, there was no one else like him. He will be missed greatly but his legacy will live on forever. He changed so many peoples hearts to the truth. No one can replace him but I believe God will raise up another conservative voice in these dark days. RIP Rush, you truly made an impact on this world, we love you and miss you! Thank you for all you have done for Conservative talk radio and for being the kind soul that you were. Thank you for sharing your heart with us and allowing God to use you as He did..

I will miss him each morning. I thank him for the last 30 years or more that I listened to him and formed my American Values as a conservative person. I was a University Prof before retiring and he helped keep me grounded in that swamp of liberal BS. Thanks, Rush! God Speed.

Rush spoke the truth to all American’s, no matter what nationality, he stood up for bear Arm’s

Libery and linited government like few talk-radio host and reporter’s do not just to keep their jobs really. We need more like Rush telling the truth getting the truth and having Government’s reps

accountable in Washington D.C in all local government.

He was on of nation’s leading voices spoke freely of honesty dignity and constitution ais our fore father’s written not changing words to benefit their way’s and also their needs and wants corruption’s.

We must hold our leader’s countable we must not have corruption we all are equal in God’s

our creator, blame game must stop in Washington D.C in our local authority in races of color.

God is our creator, our nation have removed " IN GOD WE TRUST" we must stand up fight for

our freedom to bear Arms, our country to protect and defend our country, make American great again by manufactuing jobs here, not just high tech jobs, but phyical labor, As our Former President Donald Trump did he did make American great but congress first day took office was not going to work with Trump at all, they made sure of it, shame on them blaming Trump for the group of protester’s outside for what a group of people did rage into the Capitol blaming Trump speaking to the crowed, doing everything possible so Trump is the bad guy, REALLY!

We need to get back jobs, take care of our country not with china and keep our military home

protecting our country not other’s, funding china Japan, whoever making faults deals with them for its not in our intrest its in the intrest of foreign counties, global warming really, air polution really get real. We all know dictatorship is our country is heading that way Rush

was there to being out the truth the facts.

With all that said, we are deeply sadden in the loss of Rush our condolence to the Family.

May our Lord bring to each of you comfort with in yourselves, He will heal your pain sorrow

He will never leave you nor forsake you, be strong in the Lord always, for Christ is comming back for the final day of this world that was to be perfect but He will make all things perfect for

again New World in Christ believers. God Bless .

Although I never met him, I loved him like a brother. Even in the worst of times, he could make me feel hopeful when nobody else did. I had listened to him since 1989. So glad he found Christ as Savior.

My days will be different without my daily dose of Rush! I still remember seeing him for the first time on TV in the late 80’s, and thought here is a person who clearly expresses what I am thinking!!! I am so grateful my children grew up as “Rush Babies”.

They have loved his Rush Revere books and they learned how to articulate their own conservative political views because of Rush. His honesty, humor, and perspective on the wold around us was always a breath of fresh air. He is already a missed member of our family. As 12 PM rolls around, I will be thinking of him and praying for his loved ones.

Like so many others, Rush was my “go to” radio station everyday. I’ve been listening to him for almost 35 years. His was the one voice in the wilderness that made sense. I wish I felt like someone could take his place to lead us through these troubled times – but there is not now or anytime in the future – anyone like him. He was the one and only true RUSHBO!! RIP

I found Rush while driving one day in 1990. Wow! I found someone who could articulate my thoughts and feelings like no one had ever done before. Rush was a positive force in an otherwise dark and dank world. I am forever grateful for his wit laughter and insight. I along with so many lost a ‘close’ friend when he passed. I do know I will meet him in the next life. In the meantime…..Rush you were always right! Condolences to the Limbaugh family.

I will miss Rush’s voice coming from my earbuds as I perform my daily chores on our farm in Southern Indiana. I was among the millions who “did not take marching orders” but rather was one who “had my own beliefs validated by someone who was able to put them into words that were understandable”. My prayers to Rush’s family and friends! I will miss him.
