Rush Limbaugh Tribute

In honor of Rush's life and legacy, share how the "Great One" impacted your life and our nation....

Rush Limbaugh was one of the nation's leading conservative voices for more than three decades. He championed America's founding ideals of liberty and limited government like few talk-radio hosts ever. On Wednesday, February 17, at the start of "The Rush Limbaugh Show," his wife Kathryn announced that he died from lung cancer at the age of 70.

We're saddened by his passing and what it will mean to the future of the conservative movement in America. But we are grateful for the decades that he served as such a strong voice for this great nation. Please join us in praying for his family and friends during their time of loss.

(Grassfire President Steve Elliott's Tribute.)

Please use this "Rush Tribute" to share how Rush impacted you personally and how grateful you are for the way he has impacted our nation.

Over the years, every time there was a political event that left me scratching my head. I couldn’t wait for Rush’s show to hear what his take was. It was important to hear what he had to say. He made you feel better. His wish, I believe was that each of us understood that our Country was great and offered boundless freedom that needed to cherished and protected from the powers that be who will try and steal it.

Rush made you feel like a part of his Family.

He was profound, he was a strong Conservative American Patriot.

Newt just said it well. Rush was an enormous gift to all of us.

We loved listening to Rush every day. He made sense out of the madness, looking at events in a logical way and presenting them from various points of view and thus clarifying them. We will miss him greatly and thank God for his “talents on loan from God”. We are praying for you Kathryn, we know you were a strong force in Rush’s life.

Rush was a breath of fresh air in the smog and stench of the leftist lies that were/are crammed into my face daily. Rush was a modern day example of what America ‘was’ and should still be. He clearly and graciously displayed the true history of America, by action and by word, and fought the revisionist lies that the anti-American left use to destroy our youth and thus our nation. Rush and President Trump are the greatest current day example of true Americans that we can know and point to in our lives. He stood up to the lies of chameleon politicians and the liberal media. Was such a great pleasure to have Rush in my life and in our time. God bless Rush as only He can and take care of Kathryn.

Initially heard “Mr Rush”, while driving on the Nevada Test Site, although I didn’t agree with all he stated, I at least understood his points, strengthening my understanding of the issue overall 🙄 he definitely had the power to get one to listen to all of the issues.

I have listened to Rush radio for 25 years. He was a teacher, a professor, an expert on who and what liberals really are and he was right on the money. He had the largest radio audience because he taught and told the truth and where “YOU” could get the facts. Love ya Rush and thanks for the fight. Now its up to the people……….ask yourself, "Do you want to be a FREE man or a slave?

After growing up in a Democrat voting family, I started listening to Rush in the eighties. I had already jumped ship to the Republican party. I loved that he wasn’t a Wimp. And that he stood up for what was Right! His passing is a Loss for America, . " To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" One thing is for certain he has been Healed! Wow, just imagine his interview with Jesus

My husband and I started listening to Rush in 1989 and he changed our view of politics because he explained what conservatism really is. Until then we were both apolitical. We listened to Rush every day to this day when we found out the news and I was devastated even though we knew he was on borrowed time. He was our hero and we absolutely Loved him. He will be sorely missed. RIP dear Rush. Thank you for all you did for us listeners. We love you and our hearts are broken💔

Rush was such a brilliant many, but at the same time, so relatable to the working class because of his common sense & no nonsense approach. He was a classy Archie Bunker!! RIP , Rush. You gave validation to everyone’s’ thoughts & feelings when America began to walk away from all that made it so great. We pick up the conservative banner, with Christ at the helm & will carry on in memory of you & the legacy of love for America that you have left behind.

My heart is broken upon hearing of the passing of one of America’s finest! El Rushbo has been a guiding voice from my childhood through present day. His humor, thought-provoking sense of comedy, and daily banter that highlighted the hypocrisy and idiocy of the left policies will be immeasurably missed. Rush was a bright light of truth. He allowed us the American people to know we are not alone in the fight for freedom and common sense policies. Today the greatest voice in modern history for freedom and liberty has been lost.

Prayers for Rush’s wife and family, may they find peace and look forward to seeing Rush again in glory.

    Your loyal listener,

I started listening to Rush 25+ years ago when I was waiting in the car line to pick up my kids. I listened to he ready to be ready to combat my husband who loved Rush. I thought I was a liberal then. Each time I listened I thought “well I kind of agree with that” and it continued until I learned the truth… that Rush loved America, God, and family just like I did. I realized everything that the media had said about him were lies. I loved him and listened from them on. He was the best!! I don’t know what we will do without him. It’s a very very sad day for America and all of us who love Rush. God bless Rush and prayers for Kathryn, brother David, and all of his family.
