First, the Senate Parliamentarian is GUTTING many of the most important and cost-cutting measures in the "Big, Beautiful Bill." In reviewing the reconciliation bill, Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough -- an unelected official who was appointed in 2012 by Harry Reid under BARACK OBAMA -- has unilaterally:
- BANNED a scale back the ObamaCare/Medicaid payout that is bankrupting the sytem;
- BANNED an effort to keep illegal aliens from receiving BILLIONS in Medicaid and SNAP payments;
- BANNED private and religious school vouchers;
- BANNED needed deregulation of far-left gun laws;
- BANNED many efforts to allow the Trump Administration to clean up waste and fraud in government;
- BANNED funding cuts to several government departments;
In all, the Parliamentarian gutted BILLIONS in planned "savings," further throwing the Bill into larger deficits.
Majority Leader Thune MUST dismiss the Senate Parliamentarian effective immediately! If Thune doesn't dismiss or bypass the parliamentarian, then he is joining RINOs in hiding behind that fake "shield" to further gut President Trump's agenda.
