We were surprised to learn today that many Cubans seem to love the American flag more than The New York Times does! Please read our update below and see for yourself. --Grassfire

Cubans fed up with the evils and misery of communism have taken to the streets in protest. Even though anti-government demonstrations are outlawed there, thousands in Havana and elsewhere are demanding liberty: "Libertad!" They want to bring an end to the dictatorship that has ruled the island nation for more than 60 years.

Shockingly, some of the protestors demanding freedom are doing so while waving American flags. That's right! AMERICAN flags. In COMMUNIST Cuba! (Click here to see the video.)

Meanwhile, here in the U.S., "Old Glory" continues to be a target of the Unhinged Left's "Hate America" agenda. The New York Times is one of the FAKE NEWS outlets helping lead the charge. A July 3 article criticized the "red, white and blue" as "A Fourth of July Symbol of Unity That May No Longer Unite." In a tweet promoting their story, the newspaper claimed:

Today, flying the American flag from the back of a pickup truck or over a lawn is increasingly seen as a clue, albeit an imperfect one, to a person’s political affiliation in a deeply divided nation.

Last month, a New York Times reporter kickstarted "The Gray Lady's" offensive against the "stars and stripes" during an appearance on MSNBC. Mara Gay said that, while on a recent trip to Long Island, she "saw dozens and dozens of pickup trucks with... Trump flags, and in some cases just dozens of American flags, which is also just disturbing."

("Disturbing"? If someone finds the American flag "disturbing," perhaps they should consider living under a different flag.)
