Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) didn't exactly give Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg a ringing endorsement yesterday, when he said: "It's premature to comment on what's happening, and we'll have to wait and see what he does."

CNN liberal commentator Van Jones admitted "the heat is on" Bragg, while questioning a possible indictment President Trump: "A charge like this ... it doesn't seem like the right way to go."

The Manhattan district attorney's pending indictment of President Donald Trump will have to wait at least one more day. The secret grand jury that was supposed to meet in New York City today -- didn't. The Wall Street Journal reports:

The district attorney's office notified court officials Tuesday night about the change in plans, the people said. The grand jury could be called to reconvene Thursday, according to the people. It wasn't clear what prompted the change.

Many "America First" patriots would like to think today's postponement was due to the rising pressure against NYC's far-left, activist DA. As we told you earlier today (see here), legal experts call this latest attack on President Trump "highly dubious," "highly questionable," "blatantly political," "targeted injustice" and (Grassfire's personal favorite) "legally pathetic."

On Twitter this afternoon, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) posted she wants the DA arrested for "prosecutorial misconduct," adding:

"Bragg is on the verge of indicting an innocent former President and top Presidential candidate against the opposing ruling party. Bragg is breaking the law and trying to incite civil unrest with his Soros funded political war. Hold him accountable!"

Yesterday, Sen. Rand Paul tweeted his thoughts about the latest attack on America's 45th president: "A Trump indictment would be a disgusting abuse of power. The DA should be put in jail."
