Breaking news indicates Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) will "take the first procedural step" today to introduce a stop-gap spending bill that would avert a partial government shutdown next week. This new SPENDING SCAM is another legislative outrage from the D.C. Uni-Party since the GOP-controlled House is supposed to control the "power of the purse"!
According to Punchbowl News, "That means filing cloture on an underlying legislative vehicle that would eventually be replaced with a continuing resolution to keep federal agencies open beyond Jan. 19 or Feb. 2, the two current funding deadlines. That cloture vote would come Tuesday."
ANOTHER manufactured crisis is taking shape on Capitol Hill. ANOTHER threat of a government shutdown has panicked, tax-and-spend lawmakers breathlessly calling for ANOTHER "Spending Scam"! ANOTHER continuing resolution (CR) is the same "business as usual" antics of the D.C. Uni-Party.
