Today marks one month since brutal and barbaric attacks by Hamas terrorists MURDERED 1,400 Israeli men, women and children. An overwhelming majority of the victims were civilian, not military -- so are the more than 240 hostages STILL held captive somewhere in Gaza, according to CBN News.

In last night's Israel update (see below), Grassfire told you about the global rise of anti-Semitism. Alarmingly, some of the worst examples of it are happening here in the United States. We wanted to give you an opportunity to stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters by providing THREE WAYS for team members to take action.

The Grassfire team was shocked and saddened by the lack of response. Maybe you didn't see yesterday's message. Maybe you're too overwhelmed with the evil we see in today's world to take action. Whatever the reason, seeing so few of our most loyal team members take a stand in the past 24 hours reminded us of this 100% true story:

More than 40 years ago on a cold night in a major U.S. city, a man was riding home on public transportation when he saw something that didn't look right. A group of young men had surrounded three high-school students to taunt and harass them. The 40-something husband and father, with three sons of his own, didn't like what he saw.

So, after a young thug slapped the hat from the head of one boy, the man stood up, calmly handed the hat to the high-school student, and said, "Don't do anything." But just before the doors opened at the next subway stop, the young men began their attack -- punching and hitting the teenagers. The man got involved in the melee, too. He grabbed the younger men and, literally, threw them out of the train car, one by one, onto the platform.

One punch almost drove the man to his knees, but he continued doing everything he could to protect those boys until, finally, the doors closed and the train pulled away. After checking on the teens to make sure they were OK, the brave man turned to all of the other people inside the train car. Shocked, he asked them, "Where were you?! You saw what was happening! Why didn't any of you help?!"

In 1867, British philosopher John Stuart Mill said, "Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing." Dietrich Bonhoeffer, an anti-Nazi theologian and pastor during World War II, famously warned, "Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act."

What about you? If you haven't yet, will you "Stand With Israel" today? If so, please see our previous email below to order a "Stand With Israel" ReSticker, an Israeli flag and to fax U.S. Senators, demanding they "Stand With Israel!" Thank you, in advance, for taking action.

Standing for life, liberty and limited government,

The Grassfire Team
