GRASSFIRE (Jan 31, 2019) -- Now that New York state has passed a law effectively legalizing abortion until just before birth, other states are jumping on the infanticide bandwagon. A state legislator in Virginia has proposed a bill that would allow abortion, in her words, "through the third trimester... all the way up to 40 weeks." Delegate Kathy Tran (D-Fairfax, VA), a mother of four, added, "I don't think we have a limit in the bill." So, even if a mother is in full, advanced labor, she could terminate that pregnancy simply by claiming her "mental health" was at risk.

As if Tran's comments and her bill weren't enough to turn the stomach of every pro-life American, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam (D) poured gasoline on the already raging controversy by suggesting some babies could be aborted AFTER birth. Here's what the pediatric neurologist and politician told a Washington, D.C. radio station yesterday about third-trimester abortions:

"It's done in cases where there may be severe deformities. There may be a fetus that’s nonviable. So in this particular example, if a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated, if that’s what the mother and the family desired. And then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother."

So, the proverbial "cat" is out of the bag. Democrats want absolutely no limits on abortion. They want the right to kill preborn AND post-born infants at their discretion in the name of "reproductive health-care rights" and under the guise of protecting the "mental health" of the mother. Notice that Northam said the infants "may be" severely deformed or nonviable, but not all victims of third-trimester abortions fall under that criteria. And even if they do, don't they still deserve the right to be born and the help to survive?

Of course, both Tran and Northam have tried to walk-back their original comments, which have shocked and outraged millions of Americans. But even in the face of a huge national backlash caused by the Virginia and New York bills, other Democrats continue to "pile on" the vile and appalling rhetoric. LifeNews.com reports that Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo (D), who claims to be Catholic, supports a radical, pro-abortion bill in her state, too:

The Rhode Island Reproductive Health Care Act... would strip away even minor, common-sense abortion regulations – ones that a strong majority of Americans support. It would eliminate all protections for unborn babies and codify Roe v. Wade into state law in case the U.S. Supreme Court overturns the ruling.

Here's the real problem for Democrats: They are so afraid of the possibility President Trump could appoint another pro-life Supreme Court Justice that they're scrambling to pass the most heinous, far-reaching and far-left abortion laws possible. It's hard to watch, but Democrats are exposing their "culture of death" for the entire nation to see.

Grassfire hopes and prays that an army of pro-life patriots, like you, will rise up and demand an end to abortion in America. So, we're rallying thousands to take a stand.
