Early last week, it looked like no GOP lawmaker would vote to raise America's debt ceiling. But then, Senate Minority "Leader" Mitch McConnell threw Majority Leader Chuck Schumer a legislative life preserver.

After threatening to make his political opponents "handle the debt limit alone," Sen. McConnell issued a statement saying Republicans would "allow Democrats to use normal procedures to pass an emergency debt limit extension... into December."

So that's exactly what they did on Thursday. McConnell and 10 other Senate RINOs sided with Democrats to burden American families with even more federal debt. Schumer responded with vitriol, gloated over the GOP's defeat, and unfairly blasted Republicans as obstructionists.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) also attacked Republicans on Thursday, calling the GOP's reluctance to increase America's $29-trillion national debt "egregious." In a statement, the #2 House Democrat wrote:

(T)he House will convene on Tuesday, October 12, to pass this stopgap measure, and I expect we will complete our work that evening.

Democrats and RINOs don't seem to care how much it costs taxpayers to build a super highway to socialism. But you can fax Capitol Hill today to demand GOP Reps vote "NO!" on the Senate's debt-limit dirty deal.
