I just heard from Gary LeBlanc of Mercy Chefs -- Grassfire's disaster relief partner. The situation is critical on the Ukraine border. Please see Gary's message below and then go here to help sponsor critical support for Ukraine refugees.

This is a terrible tragedy. The refugees need our help. Go here and see below. --Gary
Steve,
The situation here is desperate and getting worse. Yesterday, we met a missionary family of five who waited two and a half days in their car to cross the border. Thousands are either waiting to cross or have already crossed. They are fleeing for their lives from the horror of war.
One of our international relief partners still has family inside Ukraine and he shared these photos with us. His sister-in-law's apartment building in Kharkiv was destroyed last night. Even the school building where he played basketball as a kid was targeted.
+ + Heavy bombardment, homes destroyed
Another person working with us said that her family's village had been under heavy bombardment. Houses all around them were being destroyed, but miraculously they survived. Today will bring more bombs.
Right now, we're working our way to the Ukrainian border while simultaneously coordinating relief efforts both for those inside Ukraine and the flood of refugees who are arriving at the border.
There is a shortage of EVERYTHING -- food, medicine, supplies for babies, water. But God is opening doors hour by hour! We're working to coordinate supplies that are coming in from multiple groups. We may need to buy a truck. We really need a field kitchen ASAP to prepare meals and feed the refugees. We must press through to help these people.
Simply put, WE NEED YOUR HELP TODAY! I'm asking you to prayerfully consider how you can partner with Mercy Chefs as we stand at the epicenter of this critical relief need on the frontlines of Russia's attack on Ukraine. Go here to make your tax-deductible gift to help Mercy Chefs get relief to Ukraine refugees right now:
The situation here is changing rapidly. Conditions are worsening as the war continues and more people flood to the border. Plus, we now are working to get relief back into Ukraine to suffering families who are in the middle of the war zones.
PLEASE PRAY! And please help.
God bless,
Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
P.S. If you already helped, thank you so much! If you can help again, PLEASE DO SO TODAY! If you haven't yet donated to support our Ukraine relief efforts, every gift will make a difference. Go here:
