The President and First Lady have tested positive for coronavirus. Mr. Trump announced the news via Twitter early this morning:

Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!

According to The Wall Street Journal, the White House physician says both Mr. and Mrs. Trump are "well at this time." The First Couple reportedly will recover while quarantining at the White House, where medical staff will "maintain a vigilant watch."

The New York Times reports the President currently is showing only "mild... cold-like symptoms." The newspaper also says Americans could expect "a possible national address or a videotaped statement from the president to demonstrate that he was functioning and that the government is uninterrupted."
