Two provisions that directly impact lawmakers were quietly added to the CR: a pay raise and an Obamacare opt-out.
The Swamp is deep AND wide -- accommodating both slimy, back-stabbing Democrats AND Republicans. With only 33 days left until President Trump's return to the Oval Office, perhaps this is their last gasp -- their final opportunity to "get what's theirs" at the expense of American taxpayers.
Earlier today, we challenged 250 "America First" patriots to fax House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and dozens of other GOP Reps (up to 37 faxes in all) for only $12. "Christmas is right around the corner. It's the same dang thing every year. Legislate by crisis, legislate by calendar. Not legislate because it's the right thing to do."
