Say "NO" To Nike...

NIKE said NO to our first American flag. Just say NO to NIKE!

After a complaint from Colin Kaepernick, NIKE withdrew a sneaker that featured an image of the 13-star Betsy Ross flag. Kaepernick and others are claiming that the iconic flag -- considered by many to be the first official flag of the United States -- is somehow racist.

It took just hours for NIKE to bow to Kaepernick, and the shoes were pulled from the market.

Grassfire is launching a "Just Say NO To NIKE" CITIZEN STATEMENT, rallying patriotic Americans to take a stand against NIKE and others who are determined to purge our nation under a false pretense of division and racism. Let's tell NIKE we're saying NO until the company stops it's attacks on our nation!

To: NIKE Officials

I'm joining the "Just Say NO to NIKE" campaign to let you know I am outraged by your purging of the Betsy Ross flag. Because you bowed to politically correct pressure and said no to one of our nation's first official flags, I'm just saying NO to NIKE and NIKE products until you stop these attacks.

Nike’s Kaepernick deal was an insult to ALL Patriots! Why not give that money to Pat Tillman’s family?, he who fought and died so bravely for our Precious Freedoms!!

Every pair of sneakers I have bought since 1985 have been Nike, and I buy a new pair every two years on the average. That’s 17 pairs since 1985 at an average cost of around $70/pair, which adds up to about $2000 that I have spent on your brand of sneakers, not to include other merchandise.

As of now, I will not purchase anything from Nike for the foreseeable future until you break all ties with the traitor and disrespector ofoour flag, Colin Kaepernick.

Further, if you do not reinstate the “Betsy Ross” sneaker, I will also continue to do same. – I am getting sick and tired of Nike seeming to lean more away from the United States of America, and more towards Middle-East countries. If that is what you prefer as your new business model, then why don’t you get the hell out of the United States, go to Iran or North Korea, and see how your company (and its employees for that matter) survive!

Either fly the Flag of the United States of America with respect and pride toward the Republic for which it stands, OR LEAVE!!!
