Florida Governor Ron DeSantis joined the growing chorus of conservative leaders who are criticizing the GOP Congress' inability to cut spending. This week, DeSantis said:

"We have a Republican Congress and to this day... not one cent in DOGE cuts have been implemented by the Congress. That's one of the reasons why we need a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution. It's another reason why we need term limits for members of Congress."

Then, DeSantis unloaded...

"DOGE and Elon were on a collision course with the Swamp.... I don't think there's any question that DOGE fought the Swamp and, so far, the Swamp has won.... This is hard-wired into how the people in Washington are borrowing and spending your money.... Don't tell me it can't be done."

DeSantis, Musk (see below), and key conservatives in the Senate are all saying the Big Spending Bill must be changed.

Yesterday we shared that a conservative REVOLT is building against the "Big Beautiful Spending Scam" because the bill actually INCREASES the deficit and DOES NOT cut spending.

Now we have learned that Elon Musk has joined the revolt.

+ + Musk: "disappointed"

According to a clip from CBS News' forthcoming interview with Musk to be released this Sunday, Musk expressed his disagreement with the Spending Scam, saying:

"I was disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit... and undermines the work the DOGE team is doing.... I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful, but I don't know if it can be both."

The fact is, a Republican Congress has not implemented even ONE PENNY of the DOGE cuts and has now proposed a Spending bill that INCREASES the deficit by over $2 TRILLION more than if this Congress did nothing!
