Today, Speaker Mike Johnson is ramming through yet another late-night, last-minute Spending bill. Here's my summation:

If the Democrats had crafted this bill, every Republican would be opposed. The bill actually INCREASES the deficit over the next four years by an ADDITIONAL $1.5 TRILLION and pushes all savings to AFTER President Trump leaves office. Everyone knows those "savings" will never happen.

That's what we call out here in the regular world a SCAM.

Overnight, Johnson cut a deal with RINOs from blue states (New York and California) johnsonpelosi_2.pngto increase the tax exemption for state and local taxes (what they call SALT) by FOUR HUNDRED PERCENT. Instead of a Trump-led Congress pushing Blue States to cut their state taxes, the Trump Congress is rewarding liberal states with high state taxes.

As I write, the final text of the bill HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED. So as of 10AM ET, not one member of Congress knows what they will be voting on, LIKELY BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY.

Speaker Johnson is using the same tactics that Speaker Pelosi used for years. Or did we already forget when the Democrats rammed ObamaCare through, with Speaker Pelosi saying:

"We'll have to pass the bill so that you can find out what's in it."

How is what's happening today different? Maybe we should call him Mike Pelosi-Johnson.

One more...

Democrats are famous for ramming through massive spending bills just before holidays. It happens just before most Christmas breaks. Grassfire has dubbed these pre-holiday, fake crisis spending sprees the "Nightmare before Christmas." 

So what is Pelosi-Johnson's rush today? Memorial Day recess and members of Congress want to leave town by tomorrow to start their vacation.

Barf.

Here's are the changes conservatives are asking for:

  1. Fix the errors of the Obamacare/Medicaid "money-laundering scam" that pays states 700% more for healthy people than the truly needy. It's crazy, but ObamaCare's massive expansion of Medicaid provides healthcare to MILLIONS of able-bodied men -- not just the most needy in society (moms, kids, disabled, elderly). And it gives states SEVEN TIMES as much money to provide healthcare to working age men on Medicaid than single moms and kids. THIS MUST BE FIXED.

  2. Fix the four-year delay in Medicaid work requirements and other delayed "savings." Sadly, MOST of the actual cost "savings" are pushed to AFTER PRESIDENT TRUMP LEAVES OFFICE (see chart). This is the same bogus games that the DC UniParty has been playing for decades. Make the work requirement and these cuts happen NOW!

  3. Get rid of the bogus Joe Biden GREEN SCAM tax breaks immediately. The so-called "Inflation Recovery Act" was really a Green Scam that is bankrupting our nation and pushing uneconomical "green" energy on us through massive green tax subsidies paid for by taxpayers. President Trump campaigned on ending the Green Scam and it must end NOW!

  4. Remove all illegal aliens from Medicaid! American citizens should NOT pay for illegal aliens to receive Medicaid. Sanctuary states are using Medicaid to funnel billions to illegals. This must stop.

  5. No massive "SALT" tax cut handouts to Blue States. Why is a Trump Congress looking to increase the state tax exemption by 400% when that exemption BENEFITS primarily BLUE states and encouraged more state taxes?!
