Today is a CRITICAL day for America's future as House lawmakers debate and modify the GOP omnibus tax and spending bill.

But here's the"dirty secret" of the bill...

The "big, beautiful" bill being pushed by GOP leaders DOES NOT ACTUALLY CUT SPENDING AT ALL and instead BANKRUPTS our nation! The GOP bill projects adding $22 TRILLION more to the deficit over the next 10 years while claiming a paltry "reduction" in spending of $1.5 Trillion. But that "reduction" isn't even a cut because it's a REDUCTION in projected increases! They are "cutting" 1.68% of the massive projected INCREASE in spending and they are claiming a conservative victory!

+ + No real cuts, $20 TRILLION more debt...

Rep. Chip Roy says the bill "still leaves more than $20 trillion in additional debt in 10 years - and most of the “cuts” are beyond the Trump years." Translation: any fake "cuts" probably won't ever happen because it will be left to another Congress and another President.

Sen. Ron Johnson wrote a blistering editorial, explaining in detail how this GOP budget has no real cuts and will expand the deficit to $59 TRILLION in just 10 years -- far more than the GDP of our country! Johnson says this plan is essentially an extension of the Biden-Obama Massive Government Expansion:

"I doubt... that Trump voters will be elated to see the GOP embrace Democratic policies and priorities—including ObamaCare, which seems to have found new life under the name “Medicaid expansion.” And I can’t imagine that they want Republicans to increase annual deficits. That’s why I can’t support this bill as it’s currently being discussed."

Today in the House, key committees are engaged in "mark up" for the massive bill. That means the bills are being debated and amended in these committees over the next 24-48 hours.
