Uh oh. Joe jetted off to the G7 Summitt in Japan and, reportedly, has left Kamala Harris in charge of the debt-limit negotiations. This doesn't seem like good news based on how poorly she's handling the illegal immigration catastrophe as "border czar." According to Breitbart News:

Biden left for Japan on Wednesday as Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and the White House continue negotiating a potential debt ceiling deal. In his stead, Biden left Harris to participate in a "virtual briefing" on the debt limit negotiations.

Breitbart also reported on the reaction from the Republican National Committee, which issued this statement yesterday: "The Biden-Harris administration's lack of leadership creates crisis after crisis, leaving American families to suffer the consequences, but they don't care."

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) spent months trying to negotiate with the so-called "Commander-in-Chief" on the debt ceiling. But like with most things, Joe is, literally, missing in action. Two meetings in the past 10 days have produced no agreement, as the window closes to avoid a government shutdown and default on the country's debt.

The House passed the "Limit, Save, Grow Act of 2023" (H.R. 2811) last month. The bill raises the nation's debt "ceiling" $1.5 TRILLION for one year, reins in runaway government spending and defunds huge parts of Joe's and the radical, unhinged Left's "America Last" agenda.

The legislation also would reduce the U.S. national debt by nearly $5 TRILLION over 10 years. But that's not good enough for Joe and the tax-and-spend Democrats. They want a "clean" debt-limit bill with no spending cuts -- no strings attached.

You call on GOP leaders to stand strong and stay united. Demand they end the federal government's runaway spending AND defund Joe's "America Last" agenda by supporting the House-passed, debt-limit bill! For now, McCarthy and his fellow Republicans don't appear ready to cave or roll over to Joe's demands. The GOP is STILL REFUSING to raise the nation's debt limit without spending cuts. Click here to make sure it stays that way. Thanks, in advance, for making your voice heard today.

WHITE HOUSE REFUSES TO NEGOTIATE ON DEBT LIMIT. SIGN THE PETITION TO "STOP THE SPENDING INSANITY!"

Not only are the Regime's "talking heads" insisting that Joe refuses to negotiate on the raising the nation's debt limit, they're already laying the groundwork to blame Republicans for the coming recession. On MSNBC this week, White House Communications Director Ben LaBolt said Joe is "open" to "a budget negotiation... an appropriations negotiation through the typical process."

If that's even true, where has Joe been for the past several months as House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) called for negotiations? Two Oval Office meeting in the past 10 days have produced no substantial results. Now, Joe's in Japan at the G7 Summit with only two weeks left until a possible government shutdown over this debt-limit showdown.

When asked if the White House is "now negotiating over the debt limit," LaBolt answered, "No. ... Default is not an option. It would tip the country into a recession and cost us millions of jobs. ... Ultimately, the outcome we need, over the next couple of weeks, is to remove default from the table and ensure that we don't tip into a recession." (Notice how he used the "R word" twice?)

So, there's no negotiating with Joe and his cronies about how much to raise the debt limit? Are Republicans simply supposed to give Joe, Democrats and RINOs exactly what they want by raising the debt limit as much as they want with no strings attached? If McCarthy doesn't cave, will the Regime let the government shutdown, default on America's debt, and blame the GOP for it?

On April 26, the House passed the "Limit, Save, Grow Act of 2023" (H.R. 2811). The bill raises the debt "ceiling" $1.5 TRILLION for one year, reins in runaway government spending and defunds parts of Joe's "America Last" agenda. If passed, the bill also would reduce the U.S. national debt by nearly $5 TRILLION over 10 years. It's not surprising that Democrats oppose the bill -- but have refused to provide a plan of their own.

If you're an "America First" patriot, who believes in life, liberty and limited government and doesn't want to keep financing Joe's radical, far-left agenda, take action now. Grassfire is empowering you to take action by signing the "Stop The Spending Insanity!" national petition.

In about two weeks, the federal government will reach the limit on its taxpayer-funded "credit card." So, Joe and the Uni-party want to borrow even more money to avoid a government shutdown and a default on our nation's debt. Joe insists on a "clean" debt-limit bill with no spending cuts and no strings attached.

The Democrat plan appears to be: Allow a federal-government shutdown and then blame Republicans for it. The Regime and its ilk would rather spend, spend, spend so government gets bigger and bigger and bigger. But House Republicans' have passed a bill that increases the debt limit, reins in federal spending, and saves taxpayer dollars without a government shutdown or default.

Click here now to demand Senators support McCarthy's efforts to pass H.R. 2811, a bill that increases America's debt limit by $1.5 TRILLION for one year AND saves taxpayers nearly $5 TRILLION over 10 years. Don't let Joe blame Republicans for his continued failure as "Commander-in-Chief." Thanks, in advance, for taking action today to support the "Limit, Save, Grow Act of 2023."
