I'm writing to urge you to support the "Hong Kong Human Rights And Democracy Act" that would exert the pressure of the U.S. government in support of Hong Kong autonomy against China.

These brave freedom defenders in Hong Kong are singing our National Anthem and waving the American flag -- and asking for America to stand with them! They are holding us up as the model of freedom and liberty. It is our duty to stand with these brave citizens of Hong Kong as they stand for their autonomy and basic freedoms.

With 1,400 already having been arrested and the continued threats of being extradited to totalitarian mainland China, these freedom defenders need the support of the U.S. government. Please support this bill and I urge quick passage.
