After the House passed the Pelosi DIRTY DEFICIT DEAL last week with a majority of Republicans voting NO, the question is... will GOP Establishment leaders push the bill if there is significant GOP senate opposition?

The fact is, the DIRTY DEFICIT DEAL cannot pass with GOP support! And some GOP Senators have already come out against the deal. Mitt Romney:

“This deal unfortunately perpetuates fiscal recklessness by adding another $2 trillion to the debt, and I cannot support it. We must repair our fiscal foundation and set a course to a balanced budget now so that we avoid a future debt crisis that would pose grave hardships for our children and grandchildren.”

How bad is it?

Really bad. Here are a few LOWLIGHTS:

  • It will add another $2 TRILLION in additional deficits on top of the already impossible mountain of debt;
  • ANNUAL deficits will exceed $1 TRILLION starting in 2022 and continue indefinitely;
  • There are NO REAL SPENDING CUTS because the "cuts" take place in the distant future and will be repealed by future Congresses (just as this deal does);
  • The dirty deal extends the debt ceiling limit UNTIL 2021 so politicians do not have to deal with this issue until after the next election!
