In federal court yesterday, an FBI intelligence analyst and supervisor testified that the Bureau offered a British intelligence officer $1 MILLION to prove the outrageous accusations of the infamous "Steele dossier." Of course, he couldn't because nothing in that salacious document was true.

But that didn't stop a corrupt and rudderless FBI from taking the dossier to the top-secret FISA court and using it to spy on then-candidate Donald Trump. Here's the real bombshell from today's Wall Street Journal:

"FBI agents ultimately used some of the information, which they never corroborated, in applications to surveil a former Trump campaign adviser."

So, federal law enforcement KNEW they had bad intel on the leading Republican presidential nominee, yet they still used that information to obtain a warrant to spy on Donald Trump. It's outrageous!

Also, shame on The Wall Street Journal for watering down the seriousness of yesterday's testimony. Today' article says the FBI used the information "in applications." The agents used the fake dossier to obtain "warrants" from the FISA court to spy on Donald Trump and his associates. Also, nowhere in the article does the author even mention the FISA court or explain what is. So, Grassfire will:

Congress established the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, also known as the FISA Court, in 1978. The official, government website says it "entertains applications made by the United States Government for approval of electronic surveillance, physical search, and certain other forms of investigative actions for foreign intelligence purposes."
