Key conservatives are about to cave and join with the rest of Congress in "fiddling while America burns."
Three of the four Senators who have been standing on principle and insisting that the reconciliation bill actually cut spending and change the debt trajectory are, according to Politico, "suddenly sounding softer on the megabill."
Who are the three? Senators Ron Johnson, Mike Lee, and Rick Scott.
What happened?
Politics.
They got these "holdouts" in a room and put the pressure on.
Now, Sen. Ron Johnson -- perhaps the fiercest critic -- is saying, "I want to be helpful."
Sounds like Ron just picked up his fiddle...
Maybe Sen. Johnson is forgetting all his charts and analysis showing that the Big Bill is a sleight-of-hand trick. It doesn't actually reduce real-dollar spending. In fact, it increases the debt by $20-25 TRILLION over 10 years, and that's after counting the bogus "cuts" that will likely never happen because they are pushed to after President Trump leaves office.
+ + This week is critical...
Meanwhile, the RINOs in the Senate are pressing for MORE SPENDING and MORE DEBT! They are resisting the meager Medicaid "cuts" in the House bill and want to keep more of Joe Biden's "Green Energy" tax giveaways.
With the conservatives caving and the RINOS gaining momentum, the next 48 hours are critical.
+ + Action #1 -- Call the 3 wavering conservatives
