I received the message below from Gary LeBlanc of Mercy Chefs -- Grassfire's disaster relief partner. I was shocked to learn that conditions in Honduras are still desperate. People are struggling just to survive -- homes destroyed, areas still flooded.

I'm hoping the Grassfire team can help right now. Just $50 will feed FIVE FAMILIES of four for five days! Go here to make your tax-deductible gift directly to Mercy Chefs, and see below.

Steve,

My team on the ground in Honduras says the conditions are desperate. There is still widespread flooding and loss of basic services. Streets are flooded.

Many people have been forced to live in the mud. There are so many roads washed out that it is difficult to even get help to some communities, but they urgently need support.

All weekend, our team reached out to some of the hardest hit people and distributed hot meals, survival packs, sleep mats, and supplies for the children.

How all of this is impacting the children breaks my heart. Everything has been disrupted. Their families have lost homes and many are living in tents. In one of the communities we are serving, the local school was destroyed.

This week, our team is meeting with local officials who are searching for ways to get life for the kids back to some semblance of "normal." They need school supplies urgently.

These people need our help!

Will you partner with Mercy Chefs right now so we can help meet this urgent need in Honduras while we continue other vital efforts? Go here to make your tax-deductible gift:

The Lord has placed Mercy Chefs right in the midst of one of the most urgent areas of need right now. I want to do more, but we need faithful friends to partner with us right now.

Thanks in advance for standing with Mercy Chefs as we stand with the people of Honduras.

God bless,

Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs

P.S. The photo below was taken at one of our meal distributions this weekend. When our team arrives in a community, people line up. Many are in very serious need, but they are always so grateful. Thanks so much for your partnership.

A few days ago, our team in Honduras learned of an orphanage that did not have a reliable supply of food. Dozens of orphans faced a very serious need.

Our team took action. Now, we are providing these orphans with meals (shown in photo) -- along with hot meals for two shelters, survival food packs that are feeding thousands, fresh drinking water, and much more.

This is the type of urgent need Mercy Chefs is meeting this month. We set a goal of $20,000 for Giving Tuesday to help provide tens of thousands of meals this month. Will you help? Go here to make your tax-deductible gift to help feed these orphans and meet other critical needs right now, and see below for more details.

God bless,

Gary LeBlanc

P.S. Every dollar donated today, on Giving Tuesday, will be doubled by a special Matching Challenge until we meet the $10,000 challenge. Please help. The needs this month are unprecedented. We'll serve a HALF-MILLION meals in December. I need help! Go here:
