Dear Member of Congress,

I am deeply disturbed that the President's desire to include the Citizenship question in the U.S. Census is even a controversy. I am calling on you to publicly support the President's goal.

Asking about citizenship status is certainly historically within the authority of the government and may actually be a Constitutional necessity. More than that, it is important at this time in our history to get the most accurate counting of those who are living in our nation as possible. Plus, the question was included in the regular census more often than not until 2010 when it was removed from the ten-year census.

This is insanity. The President has pledged to pursue all legal means to ensure the Citizenship question is included in the Census. I urge you to publicly support President Trump's stated goal.

Sincerely,

A Concerned Citizen
