With Congress on recess this week, news was leaked to the ultra-insider RINO/UniParty rag "Punchbowl News" that John Thune and his RINO allies are quietly "shelving" (i.e. killing) the SAVE America Act.
Here's the Punchbowl headline:
"Senate shelves SAVE [Act] as filibuster debate rages"
Punchbowl then announced that GOP leaders "are unlikely to hold additional votes on the SAVE America Act."
After weeks of constant pressure on Thune to pass this bill, Punchbowl just plainly states an end to the debate?! And where did Punchbowl get this info?
From Thune and his RINO Allies of course!!!
Also "coincidentally" on the same day Punchbowl was "breaking" news on the "shelving" of the SAVE America Act, the other ultra-insider DC UniParty rag -- Politico -- just happened to release a poll showing that support for the SAVE Act is very low.
The Politico poll results are the OPPOSITE of months of polling showing 80% of Americans support Voter ID.
