House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is pushing the Senate to pass the SAVE Act through reconciliation. On Saturday, he told FOX News:
"We HAVE to have fair and safe and free elections, and we passed the SAVE America Act... three times in the House already and we'll do it again. We're going to try to put it on the next reconciliation package and send it to the Senate again."
Johnson insists supporting voter ID laws is not a Republican-only priority. He said, "Over 70% of Democrats say it's common sense."
So why has it been impossible, so far, to break the Uni-Party blockage and protect American elections?
