The Wall Street Journal issued a strong warning today about Joe Biden's and the Democrats' $3.5-trillion SPENDING SCAM. The newspaper's editorial board published "Transforming America in 17 Days," which exposes radical, leftist lawmakers' "rush to pass their cradle-to-grave entitlement agenda with little debate or scrutiny."
A link to the must-read article is at the bottom of this update. The op-ed's final sentence is the most alarming. It reads:
Americans should be shouting from the rooftops to stop this steamroller before they wake up to a government that dominates their lives in a country they don’t recognize.
The "Capitalist Bible" is on-target with its assessment of the SPENDING SCAM. Grassfire has been warning our team members about it for months. The $3.5-trillion, Democrat wish-list of radical, pork spending pushes America toward full-blown socialism.
The Journal reports: "Now with merely 50 Democrats in the Senate and a five-member House majority, Democrats are planning to rush through the biggest tax and spending increase in half a century."
The Senate needs 51 votes to stop the SPENDING SCAM. All 50 Republican Senators insist they'll vote against the bill when it comes to the floor soon. Two "moderate" Democrats, Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (AZ) and Sen. Joe Manchin (WV) say the $3.5-trillion "price tag" is too high, and they do NOT support it -- at least right now.

Thursday evening:
An epic battle is brewing in the United States Senate. Grassfire expects the "pot" to boil over when the Upper Chamber reconvenes on Monday. Originally, we were going to call it a "showdown" between moderate Democrats and their far-left colleagues. But with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer's comments yesterday, it looks to us like America is in for a bare-knuckle, no-holds-barred, ideological fight.
Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) is among only two Democrats -- Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) is the other one -- currently opposed to Joe Biden's, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) and Schumer's $3.5-trillion SPENDING SCAM. Manchin even wrote a Wall Street Journal op-ed last week, calling for a "strategic pause" on runaway government spending.
But yesterday, Schumer doubled down on fast-tracking the Democrats' cradle-to-grave plan. According to The Wall Street Journal, this is how the Senate Majority Leader responded to Manchin's call to tap the brakes on the $3.5 trillion Democrat wish-list:
Mr. Schumer isn't listening. "We're moving full speed ahead" to "get something big done," the Senate leader told reporters Wednesday, having instructed committee chairs to rush out language by Sept. 15. Mr. Sanders rejected changes to the timing or size of his budget. At the "very least" the bill must be $3.5 trillion, he said, since the figure was "already the result of a major, major compromise."
Ultra-far-left Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) wants $6 trillion for his obscene New Green Deal. That's likely the "major, major compromise" Schumer's talking about, because 52 Senators currently oppose the $3.5-trillion SPENDING SCAM. They haven't compromised -- and neither should you!

When Congress reconvenes on Monday, the Senate will pick up the SPENDING SCAM baton from the House.
