Hakeem Jeffries just once again "doubled down" on his uncompromising demands, including a massive BACKDOOR AMNESTY, or Democrats will keep the DHS shutdown going indefinitely.

In an interview with PBS, Jeffries stated that his goal is to "get ICE under control," but the reality of what the Democrats are demanding goes far beyond ICE.

In the interview, Jeffries once again stated the core Dem demand -- "judicial warrants." As Grassfire has explained, such a warrant requirement would mean that only illegal aliens who have been arrested for crimes committed since they illegally came to the United States would be subject to ICE deportation.

That means the vast majority of illegal aliens now in America -- tens of millions -- would receive a defacto BACKDOOR AMNESTY.

This is the Left's end game behind the riots and the shutdown -- they want to stop President Trump's historic crackdown on illegal immigration. And they are on the verge of leveraging the shutdown to accomplish this goal.
