President Trump has done it AGAIN!
This time, the President is breaking the assumption that rampant violence and murder in our cities is an acceptable norm.
For example, I conceded that my last visit to New York City a few years ago was my LAST VISIT to New York City! Too dirty. Too dangerous. We Americans just assume that our cities are unsafe. That you can't go out at night. That the urban "war zone" is the inevitable norm.
Enter President Trump, who just declared NO MORE to unsafe cities and unchecked crime. It's time to take back our cities, starting with Washington, D.C.!
President Trump announced
from the White House that his administration is TAKING OVER the safety and security of our nation's capital:
"I'm announcing a historic action to rescue our nation's capital from crime, bloodshed, bedlam and squalor and worse. This is Liberation Day in D.C. and we're going to take our capital back."

But as the President went on to note, he needs OUR HELP!
That's because liberals wrote laws designed to tie the President's hands in establishing the safety and security of the Distric of Columbia, which is a FEDERAL district!
That's why President Trump has called on Congress to immediately pass legislation to give him the full authority he needs to trample crime and make our nation's capital safe again.
Sen. Mike Lee has already introduced legislation (The BOWSER Act) that would nullify the liberal stranglehold on D.C. and return full authority to the President's Administration.
