Anti-Faith "Equality Act" Undermines Parental Rights

+ + Parental Nightmare #1 -- Father guilty of "family violence" for calling his daughter a girl

Last month in Canada, a judge ruled that a father of a 14-year-old girl was guilty of "family violence" because he insisted on using feminine pronouns to describe his daughter. He is subject to arrest if he calls his daughter by her birth name. This ruling comes after the court mandated that the daughter receive gender transition treatments against the father's wishes.

The Equality Act will make this a very real possibility for every parent in America.

+ + Parental Nightmare #2 -- Parents lose custody of daughter for refusing gender transition

In 2018, a family in Ohio lost custody of their teenage daughter because they stood on their faith and refused to submit to state-ordered gender transition therapies and insisted on calling their daughter by her given name. A year earlier, family services sought to obtain custody of their daughter while alleging neglect and abuse. Ultimately, the court removed the daughter from the parents' home because the daughter "has a legitimate right to pursue life with a different gender identity than the one assigned at birth."

Of course, their teenage daughter CANNOT vote and CANNOT drink -- but the courts ruled that she has the RIGHT to permanently change her God-given gender! The Equality Act cements this into the federal law.

+ + Parental Nightmare #3 -- Mom arrested for tweeting the wrong gender!

And this from Britain... A 38-year-old mother of two was arrested -- in front of her children -- by British authorities because she got into a Twitter argument with a transgender and called him by the wrong gender! She says she was "arrested for harassment and malicious communications because I called someone out and misgendered them on Twitter.” British authorities arrest thousands each year for online comments that "cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another."

The Equality Act will give the thought police even more jurisdiction over our lives. People will have the "right" to be called by the correct pronoun!
