This morning, the Senate passed the Big Bill by a vote of 51-50, with Vice President J.D. Vance breaking the tie.

In the final hours before passage, Senate leaders refused to allow a vote on Sen. Rick Scott's amendment to fix one of the worst ObamaCare provisions that caused PERVERSE FINANCIAL INCENTIVES for states to greatly expand Medicaid into working-age adults (including illegals) with no children.

Once again, GOP RINOs bait and switched conservatives by disallowing even a vote on an amendment that would have begun rolling back ObamaCare's Medicaid expansion in 2030!! The GOP couldn't even muster the courage to vote on rolling back one part of ObamaCare in FIVE YEARS!!!

Now, the bill goes back to the House where core conservatives are saying the Senate version is FAR WORSE than what passed the House a few weeks ago.

  • "The House was clear: no new deficit spending. The Senate isn’t listening—their version adds over $1T to the deficit, completely ignoring the House framework," posted Rep. Keith Self. "This isn’t just reckless—it’s fiscally criminal."

  • "The Green New Deal is still alive in the new Senate bill. Yes, you’re paying for more windmills," said Rep. Andy Ogles in a post that noted that the Senate delayed cutoff in Green subsidies is worded to be "effectively worthless."

  • "The changes the Senate made to the House passed Beautiful Bill, including unacceptable increases to the national debt and the deficit, are going to make passage in the House difficult," posted Rep. Marlin Stutzman. "We cannot in good faith pass a bill through our chamber that hinges on cut corners and earmarks. The American people won’t stand for it."
