Yesterday, Sen. Ernst met with Hegseth and it is clear Ernst is softening her tone. While she didn't go so far as to say she would support Pete's confirmation, in a carefully worded statement Ernst said she is looking forward "to a fair hearing based on truth, not anonymous sources."

Those same "anonymous sources" that the likes of Ernst and other RINOs have been using in an effort to force Hegseth to withdraw his name from consideration!
