Following the release of new documents confirming the plot to destroy the first Trump presidency through a "Russia collusion" hoax, President Trump has called for the Department of Justice to pursue criminal litigation against former President Obama.

"The leader of the gang was President Obama. Barack Hussein Obama.... Except or the fact that he gets shielded by the press his entire life...He is guilty.... This was treason.... They tried to steal the election."

President Trump's statement comes after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard laid out evidence of a "year-long coup against President Trump" that reached all the way to then-President Barack Obama.
