Dear Member of Congress,

I agree with President Trump -- Congress should NOT pass a bill that would ban the TikTok video-sharing app unless the app is sold.

First, it is very dangerous for Congress to TARGET one company (or one person) with legislation. This is antithetical to the very idea of laws which should apply broadly. Historically, such bills are called Bills of Attainder and are expressly banned by our Constitution. This is part of a very bad trend right now in which political leaders and our legal system are TARGETING individuals and organizations. This must be stopped

Also, this currupts the free market of ideas. Other social media companies such as Facebook -- that are hostile to our liberties -- would greatly benefit from this ban. 

Again, I urge you to OPPOSE this effort to ban Tik Tok.
