Dear Senator,

I'm writing in support of Sen. Rick Scott's "No Budget, No Pay Act" that would prohibit members of Congress from being paid their salary during a government shutdown.

It is the ultimate in hypocrisy that while federal workers and the military face furloughs or working without pay, Congress has managed to continue to pay their own salaries in full during a government shutdown Congress created!

This is outrageous. Members of Congress should NOT be paid or receive back pay for every day that the government is shut down. I'm urging you to stop your elitist ways and prohibit Congress from being paid during any government shutdown.
