It got almost no reaction from the pro-LGBTQ crowd gathered for the first-ever hearing on the so-called "Equality Act"...

But I was floored.

Rep. Tom McClintock entered into the record a FOIA (Freedom Of Information Act) document indicating that the National Institutes of Health had approved lowering the age for children to be included in government-funded studies about gender transition hormones from 13 to 8. As in EIGHT YEARS OLD!

I asked the Congressman's office for the document, and they sent it to me. Here is the excerpt:

"...the minimum age for the cross-sex hormone cohort inclusion criteria was decreased from 13 to 8 to ensure that a potential participant who could be eligible for cross-sex hormones... would not be excluded due to age alone."

I did further digging and discovered why the NIH is now funding EIGHT YEAR OLDS to get gender transition hormones. There is a real push in the LGBTQ community to start the process BEFORE PUBERTY when physical changes start to happen.

It's sad. And it bring me to the so-called "Equality Act," which I'd call a Trojan Horse but there's nothing hidden about the agenda...

The radical LGBTQ activists are determined to transition America into a post-gender era in which there is no legal grounds for distinctions based on actual physical sex. The Equality Act just accelerates the transition while effectively criminalizing Christianity and putting churches, pastors, Christian businesses, and Christian schools on the wrong side of the law.

Here are just a few of the ways this oppressive bill would affect churches and people of faith:

• It REJECTS any religious freedom exemption or claim!
• Churches could lose their tax-exempt status.
• Churches could be forced to host homosexual weddings.
• Churches could not defend as policy the biblical view of marriage as between a man and a woman.
• Christian colleges could be financially ruined as they will not be able to accept federally-backed student loans.
• Any Christian business that provides a "good, service, or program" would be forced to comply.
• Men who identify as women would have a LEGAL RIGHT to enter a women's restroom and sleep in same quarters as women at shelters or on church mission trips.
• Your sex at birth will become LEGALLY IRRELEVANT!

Again, I was shocked to hear a member of Congress report that the NIH was approving (with our tax dollars) studies on gender transition hormones FOR EIGHT YEAR OLDS. If this anti-faith Equality Act passes, we will lose the ability to teach our kids about what it means to be male and female.
