Grassfire
On Friday, March 13, President Trump called for a National Day of Prayer, urging Americans to unite spiritually in the battle against Chinese Coronavirus. He tweeted:
"We are a Country that, throughout our history, has looked to God for protection and strength in times like these."
Patriotic artist Jon McNaughton, a Grassfire Nation favorite, took that declaration to heart.
"I'll be praying for my family and for my friends," McNaughton said. "I'll pray for the country, and I'll pray for our president. ... I think that our country needs prayers right now, and I appreciate the President for calling out a national day of prayer."
In fact, Mr. Trump's actions inspired "America's Artist" to release a stunning, new sketch on Monday that honors the Commander-in-Chief and commemorates his call to prayer. "Trump Sketch 1," as McNaughton calls it, is available to our team members now in a 9" x 9" print!
The hand-drawn image bears an incredible likeness to the President praying. But not only that, it also includes words of encouragement from Mr. Trump meant to inspire every American at a time of national crisis.
